In the case of moles in particular, the dermatoscope can be used to more clearly assess features such as an uneven pigment network structure, gray-blue or white veils, pigment splattering or asymmetrical shapes.
Moles with borderline characteristics are also recorded using digital photography and stored on the computer. The digital documentation of the skin images enables us to track changes over time and carry out individual progress observations. The use of Nevisense© also enables a comprehensive risk analysis to be carried out. In this way, skin cancers can be detected and safely removed at an early stage, which is an effective preventive measure.
Do you have to undress completely for skin cancer screening?

However, in order to be able to carry out a thorough and comprehensive examination, it is usually necessary for you to undress down to your underwear for the skin cancer screening. This allows us to inspect all areas of the skin, including potentially problematic areas.
