Skin surgery Frankfurt - Outpatient operations in the practice's own operating theater

We perform outpatient operations with local anesthesia at our dermatology practice in Frankfurt. In our practice, we cover the entire spectrum of skin surgery, e.g. on the head, neck, face and trunk.

Regardless of what is being removed or how the procedure is performed, the practice has a modern operating room available. It doesn’t matter whether a benign lesion (e.g., a fatty lump [lipoma], a cyst [atheroma], or a skin tag [fibroma]), a birthmark, or another malignant skin lesion needs to be removed. A referral to a specialist is therefore not necessary, and everything remains “under one roof.”

Benign skin changes

All procedures are carried out with the aim of achieving the best possible aesthetic result after surgery.

We use the latest surgical instruments, incision and suture techniques (e.g. continuous sutures under the skin) and natural skin folds to conceal scars.

Removal of malignant skin lesions

We remove malignant skin changes using so-called micrographically controlled surgery (3D surgery).

The skin lesion (e.g. white skin cancer) is completely removed using a special incision technique in which three-dimensional edges are visualized in two-dimensional histological sections.

With this technique, the recurrence rate (recurrence of the tumor) is >0.9 %. This does not affect the esthetic result.

Our surgical team is trained in routine procedures, but also in emergencies, so that you can rely on us completely. We work closely with Dermato-Histology in Frankfurt, so that the results of the removal are also available within a few days.
